Movement helps healing. Functional & therapeutic activity that takes place under the guidance of a skilled practitioner, is beneficial on multiple levels. When medical complexities involving multiple organs and systems affect the functions of the body and do not allow you to reach your potential, then additional rehabilitation is a safe intervention.

Wellness
Post-rehab exercise program, maintenance, transfer to aprivate gym or home workouts. Patients that no longer need a progressive PT program, or are no longer under a doctor’s care, or have “graduated” from the rehab. There is often a gap in services, leaving a formal PT patient hanging on their own which creates decline that is fully preventable with regular or weekly sessions. This can also be as a supplement to an existing program. Happy to work with trainers, massage therapists or nutritionists that may be involved to promote continued care and ongoing progress.
Safety and patient education
While "aging in place" to reduce risk of falls, prolong time safely living at home, promoting independence with Activities of Daily Living and self care, this includes general safety check and home assessment. Assessment and review of apartment/home set up, clearing paths and removing obstacles in entrance way and other doorways, ergonomic set up of work and home offices, including adding of home medical equipment.
